Poruchy slinné sekrece významně ovlivňují kvalitu života a často způsobují komplikace nejen fyzické, ale také psychosociální. Zvláště u pacientů s poruchami slinné sekrece je nutno dbát na důslednou ústní hygienu z důvodu zvýšeného rizika vzniku zubního kazu a dalších onemocnění v ústní dutině. Disorders of salivary secretion significantly affect quality of life and often cause not only physical but also psychosocial complications.
