Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou postav z knih Wuthering Heights od Emily Brontë a postavou Berthy Mason z knihy Jane Eyre od Charlotte Brontë, s důrazem na motivy šílenosti. Podstatnou částí práce je historický a sociální context doby, ve které byly obě knihy napsány. This bachelor thesis deals with a character analysis of characters form Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë and the character of Bertha Mason from Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, with the focus on the motifs of madness.
