Cieľom práce je výskum sociálnej kontroly v pobytovom sociálnom zariadení s využitím konceptu totálnej inštitúcie. V práci popisujem prvky totálnej inštitúcie a sociálnej kontroly, uplatňovanej na jednotlivcoch žijúcich v skúmanom pobytovom sociálnom zariadení - útulku Nový začiatok.
