Analysis of housing accessibility and its financing in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá dostupností bydlení a jeho financování v České republice. Potřeba mít kde bydlet je považována za základní lidskou potřebu a právo na bydlení patří k základním lidským právům, proto je nezbytné této problematice věnovat pozornost. Práce porovnává dostupnost a možnosti bydlení v České republice – v kontextu minulosti, současnosti a možného budoucího vývoje. V práci je rovněž porovnání situace v České republice se zahraničím a vybranými evropskými ekonomikami. Tato mezinárodní porovnání ukazují, že bydlení je v ČR, zejména v některých lokalitách, hůře dostupné oproti bydlení v jiných zemích. Cílem této diplomové práce je provedení komparativní analýzy dostupnosti bydlení a jeho financování.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the housing accessibility and its financing in the Czech Republic. The need to have a place to live is considered a basic human need and the right to housing is a basic human right, so it is necessary to pay attention to this issue. The work compares the accessibility and possibilities of housing in the Czech Republic - in the context of the past, present and possible future development. The work also compares the situation in the Czech Republic with abroad and selected European economies. These international comparisons show that housing in the Czech Republic, especially in some localities, is less accessible than housing in other countries. The aim of this thesis is to perform a comparative analysis of housing affordability and its financing.
