Předmětem této bakalářské práce je interpretování té části Empedokleovy filozofie, která se vztahuje k Sfairu. Význam Sfaira je v rámci Empedoleových představ o světě naprosto specifický a jeho výklad předpokládá interpretaci všech podstatných rysů Empedokleovy nauky. Abstract:
This work deals with Empedocles´ term Sphairos. The explanation of this term, however implies interpretation of the Empedocles doktrine to extent of his poem "peri physeos". For this reason, there are described the four roots, Love and Strife, and of course the cosmic cycle.Sphairos formed in a part of the cosmic cycle, in which culmination in the government of Love.
