Water regime of the landscape segment of forest stand within coppice management system

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou vodního režimu půd lesního krajinného segmentu. Předmětem zkoumání byla trvalá výzkumná plocha Ušákov s porosty nízkého lesa (pařezin) a vysokého lesa (nepravé kmenoviny) na Školním lesním podniku „Masarykův les“ Křtiny, polesí Bílovice. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnocení dynamiky vodního režimu půd za hydrologický rok 2018 na tomto krajinném segmentu ve vztahu k provedeným pěstebním zásahům (podúrovňová pročistka s 50% intenzitou) a 30% redukci podkorunových srážek u porostů pařezin a také ve vztahu k hospodářskému tvaru. Z výsledků vyplývá, že v porostech nízkého lesa se zásahy je půdní vláha v průběhu celého zkoumaného období vyšší, naopak u porostů s redukcí podkorunových srážek nižší, a vliv hospodářského tvaru na půdní vláhu se jednoznačně neprokázal. Dalším posláním této práce je i představení základního nástinu metodiky, jak mezi sebou hodnotit kontinuálně a ambulantně získaná data vodního režimu půd z libovolného krajinného segmentu. Na základě této uvedené metodiky byly právě analyzovány jednotlivé vlhkostní veličiny zkoumaných půd.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the water regime of soils of the forest landscape segment. The object of the research was the permanent study plot Ušákov with low forest (simple coppice) and high forest (abandoned simple coppices) at the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Krtiny, Bilovice forest district. The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate the dynamics of the soil water regime during the hydrological year 2018 in this landscape segment in relation to the thinning (basal area of each polycormon was reduced to 50%) and 30% reduction of throughfall precipitation in coppice stand and also in relation to the different forest management. The results show that in the thinned coppice stands is soil moisture higher during the whole investigated season, while in the coppice stands with reduced throughfall is lower, the effect of the different forest management on the soil moisture was not conclusively proved. Another task of this thesis is also to introduce the basic outline of the methodology of how to evaluate continually and ambulatory acquired soil water regime data from any landscape segment. Based on this method, individual humidity values of the studied soils were analyzed.
