Rehabilitation treatment for the reduction of hypertonia and drug therapy in patients with Parkinson's disease: case report

Abstract:

Balance disorder, tremor, bradykinesia, difficulty walking and rigidity are some of the main symptoms experienced by patients with Parkinson's disease. Given this premise and the physiopathological characteristics of this disease, this paper will strongly highlight the effectiveness and the different results pursued between a program of only two days a week using a classic physiotherapy approach and the "mirt project" which involves a team with physiotherapists and speech therapists and applies a specific rehabilitation treatment, with daily activities, and assisted by the implementation of a targeted cure program

Abstract:

Disturbi dell'equilibrio, tremori, bradicinesia, difficolta a camminare e rigidit? sono alcuni dei principali sintomi riscontrati dai pazienti con malattia di Parkinson. Tenuto conto di questa premessa e delle caratteristiche fisiopatologiche di questa malattia, in questo lavoro si evidenzier? con forza l'efficacia e i diversi risultati perseguiti fra un programma di soli due giorni a settimana che utilizza un approccio fisioterapico classico ed il "progetto mirt" che prevede un team di fisioterapisti e logopedisti e applica un trattamento riabilitativo specifico, con attivit? quotidiane, e coadiuvato dall'attuazione di un programma di cura mirato.
