Contemporary sights of the Darwin theory and the theory of creation within teaching biology

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá současnými pohledy na Darwinovu teorii a teorii kreace v rámci výuky přírodovědy na 1. stupni a přechodu na 2. stupeň základních škol. Téma pomáhá mladého člověka vychovávat k tomu, aby si vážil světa, života a jejich tajemství, aby hledal a nalézal odpovědi na své otázky, učil se kriticky hodnotit argumenty, budoval si osobní postoj ke světu a uměl jej obhajovat. Rozvíjí tak žákovu osobnost v několika rovinách a sleduje linii klíčových kompetencí žáka. V rámci tématu je předloženo množství různých argumentů a nových poznatků, které nejsou často prezentovány široké veřejnosti ani žákům a které mohou vytvořit přesnější obraz vnímání dávné minulosti a také ujasnit si vlastní postoje. Součástí diplomové práce je výzkum, který má zmapovat, co si děti představují pod pojmy vznik světa a života a co by se chtěly dozvědět. Podobně výzkum mapuje povědomí a názory dospělých na téma evoluce a kreace. Další součástí výzkumné části práce je průzkum a analýza vybraných učebnic a populárně naučných encyklopedií z hlediska daného tématu vzniku světa a života a jejich zhodnocení z hlediska objektivity a didaktické vhodnosti. Diplomová práce nabízí k praktickému využití mediální CD ROM s prezentací určenou přímo do výuky, dále pak nabízí shrnující informace a nejnovější poznatky vědy z oblasti teorie evoluce a kreace určenou pro učitele.

Abstract:

This degree work deals with current wiew on the Darwin´s theory and theory of creation within framework of natural science tuition in the 5th to 8th class of primary schools. This topic helps to educate the young people so that they are able to value the world, life and their secret, they seek and find answers for their questions, they learn how to appraise the arguments critically, how to make their own opinion of world and how to defend it. It develops the choolchild personality in more levels and follows the line of the pupils key competences. Within the framework of this topic, there is presented plenty of different arguments and new knowledges which are not often presented to the wide public not even to the pupils and which can create more accurate picture of perception of the old history and also clarify own attitude. One part of this degree work is made by a research which is supposed to mape out what the children imagine under the terms rise of world and life and what would they like to know about it. Similarly this research mapes out the awareness and opinions of the adults on the subject of evolution and creation. Another component of the research part is a survey and analysis of chosen textbooks and popularly educational encyclopaedias from wiewpoint of the set topic of rising of the world and life and their evaluation from wiewpoint of objectivity and didactic suitability. This degree work offers a medial CD-ROM for practical application with a presentation designed right for the tuition, next it bids raked information and the newest knowledges of science from the area of evolution and creation theory designed for teachers.
