Spatial imagination development through construction kit M-Cubes

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této práce je vytvořit krychlovou stavebnici, kterou by mohli vyrobit žáci střední i základní školy a jejíž používání by vedlo k rozvoji prostorové představivosti. V první části práce je provedeno vymezení základních pojmů a řešeno postavení prostorové představivosti ve školství, včetně jejího rozvoje pomocí geometrických stavebnic. Druhá část je věnována autorem vytvořené krychlové stavebnici M-cubes. Jsou zde popsány základní pravidla stavebnice a uvedeny různé modelové úlohy. Třetí část je věnovaná užití M-cubes ve školství.

Abstract:

The main aim of this paper is to create a construction kit that could be made by pupils of secondary and elementary schools and whose use would lead to the development of spatial imagination. In the first part of the thesis we define the basic concepts and solve the position of spatial imagination in the education system, including its development using geometric kits. The second part is devoted to the construction kit M-cubes created by the author. This section describes the basic rules of the kit and presents different types of tasks. The third part is devoted to the use of M-cubes in education.
