Selen v lidské výživě

Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce shrnuje současné poznatky o selenu, především ve vztahu k výživě člověka. Jsou zde zmíněny jeho účinky na lidský organismus včetně preventivního působení v procesu karcinogeneze. Rozdílné půdní koncentrace v různých částech světa a tím i rozdílné hladiny selenu v potravinách mohou významně ovlivnit zdraví populace z nedostatku nebo nadbytku selenu. Abstract:
My bachelor thesis resumes contemporary knowledge about selenium in human nutrition. There are mentioned main effects of selenium on human body, including its function in prevention of cancer. Different concentration of selenium in the soil, consequently in food all over the world, can significantly influence human health due to lack of selenium in nutrition.
