Enterprise competitiveness during entry into foreign market

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na téma konkurenceschopnosti podniku při vstupu na zahraniční trh. První část se věnuje teoretickým východiskům konkurenceschopnosti a zahraničního trhu. Jsou definovány pojmy konkurence, konkurenceschopnost, konkurenční výhoda a strategie, ale také důvody a rizika vstupu na zahraniční trh a mezinárodní strategie. Součástí jsou i definice analýz, pomocí kterých je zkoumáno konkurenční prostředí podniku. Následuje praktická část, ve které je charakterizován vybraný podnik, země a trh. Zároveň jsou určeni největší tamní konkurenti a jsou provedeny analýzy PESTEL, benchmarking a shrnující SWOT matice. V závěru je vyhodnocena konkurenceschopnost podniku na zahraničním trhu a jsou navržena možná řešení, která by mohla učinit podnik více konkurenceschopným.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of company´s competitiveness during entry into foreign market. The first part is dedicated to the theoretical basis of competitiveness and foreign market. The terms competition, competitiveness, competitive advantage and strategy are defined, but also the reasons and risks of entering into foreign market and international strategy. It also includes definitions of analyzes by which the competitive environment of the company is examined. The practical part follows, which characterizes the selected company, country and market. At the same time, the largest local competitors are identified and analyzes such as PESTEL, benchmarking and summarizing SWOT matrix are performed. In conclusion, competitiveness of the enterprise on the foreign market is evaluated and possible solutions, which could make the company more competitive, are suggested.
