Práce přináší první ucelený pohled na historii Městské knihovny v Poličce v letech 1813-1945. Práce byla zpracována na základě analýzy archivních pramenů. Zabývá se tím, jak se knihovna vyvíjela v průběhu let. Práce je rozdělena do kapitol podle zásadních historických mezníků jejího vývoje. This thesis brings the first compact view on the history of The Municipal Library in Polička over the years 1813-1945. It was compiled according to the analysis of archival sources. Primarily, it deals with the development of the library in the course of years. The work is divided into chapters following the essential historical events during its development.
