The Analysis of Business Philosophy as a Service to Society

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o filozofii podnikání jako služby veřejnosti. Teoretická část je zaměřena na popis samotného podnikání a s ním spojených pojmů jako podnikatelská filozofie, cíle a motivace. Praktická část přináší analýzu využití filozofie podnikání jako služby veřejnosti ve firmě Baťa v první polovině dvacátého století. Praktická část také obsahuje výsledky dotazníkového průzkumu, který byl zaměřen na podnikatelskou filozofii a vnímání Baťovského odkazu u současných českých podnikatelů. Završením praktické části je identifikace důležitosti služby veřejnosti v dnešní době, po nichž následuje doporučení pro firmy a podnikatele, vyplývající z celé práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with business philosophy as a service to society. The theoretic section is focused on the description of the business itself and its related terms, e. g. the business philosophy, aims and the motivation. The analytic section introduces into the analysis of usage of business philosophy as a service to society in the Bata Shoe Company in the first half of the twentieth century. This analytic section also contains the results of a questionnaire survey which was concentrated on the business philosophy and perception of Bata?s heritage among present Czech entrepreneurs. The analytic section is completed by the identification of the importance of service to present society followed by recommendation to companies and entrepreneurs, which results from the thesis.
