Extraordinary event through the eyes of children

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na žáky v Moravskoslezském kraji z několika ostravských základních škol, kde zkoumá, jak tyto děti chápou podstatu mimořádných událostí, zda už se někdy s mimořádnými událostmi setkaly osobně, ať už jako účastníci či svědci události a jak se v této situaci zachovaly. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda jsou děti na možné mimořádné události dostatečně připraveny jak po teoretické, tak i praktické stránce a zda jsou schopny krizové situace zvládat nebo řešit, eventuálně dokázat pomoci jiným lidem.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on pupils of some of ostrava´s primary schools located in moravian-silesian region. It examines how the pupils understand the principles of emergencies, whether they have experienced an emergency, either as participants or witnesses, and how they behaved during such situation. The goal of thesis is to find out whether children are prepared for possible emergencies from theoretical and practical points of view and whether they are able to handle them, solve them or help other people alternatively.
