Determination of the Influence of Roughing Operations on Finishing for Milling Technology

Abstract:

Teoretická část diplomové práce je zaměřena na popis obrábění technologií frézování, materiály pro nástroje a jejich opotřebení. Jsou zde také popsány povrchové vlastnosti jako je mikrotvrdost, zbytkové napětí a drsnost obrobeného povrchu. Experimentální část je zaměřena na volbu řezných podmínek pro frézování nerezové oceli během hrubovacích operací. Byl zkoumán vliv řezné rychlosti (vc), posuvu na zub (fz) a hloubky řezu (ap) na velikost řezných sil vznikajících během obrábění. Následně byla změřena drsnost obrobené plochy, mikrotvrdost a indentační hloubka. Po zpracování byly diskutovány zvolené řezné podmínky v souvislosti se zpevněním obrobeného povrchu při hrubování.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the description of machining technologies milling, materials for tools and their wear. Surface properties such as microhardness, residual stress and roughness of the machined surface are also described. The experimental part focuses on the choice of cutting conditions for milling stainless steel during rough milling. The effect of cutting speed (vc), tooth displacement (fz) and cutting depth (ap) on the size of cutting forces generated during machining was investigated. Subsequently, the roughness of the machined area, the micro-hardness and the identification depth were measured. The data were processed and discussed on the selected cutting conditions in connection with the strengthening of the machined surface during roughing.
