Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá mediální reprezentací válečného konfliktu v Náhorním Karabachu ve dvou českých denících, Lidových novinách a Právu. Pomocí obsahové analýzy jsou analyzovány vybrané články, které byly publikovány v průběhu období od 27. září 2020 do 27. listopadu téhož roku. Práce se zaměřuje na identifikaci klíčových prvků, které formují čtenářovo vnímání válečného konfliktu. V práci jsou zohledněny myšlenky Dereka Gregoryho, který zdůrazňuje, jak prostorová reprezentace konfliktu formuje politický diskurz a konstrukci identit.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the media representation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in two Czech daily newspapers, Lidové noviny and Právo. Selected articles published between 27 September 2020 and 7 November of the same year are analysed using content analysis. The thesis focuses on identifying key elements that shape readers' perception of the war conflict. The thesis takes into account the ideas of Derek Gregory, who highlights how the spatial representation of conflict shapes political discourse and the construction of identities.
