Synthesis, properties and reactivity of azo compounds containing naphthalene skeleton

Abstract:

V teoretické části této diplomové práce jsou diskutovány možnosti syntézy azosloučenin. Práce se zaměřuje především na syntézy, které jsou katalyzovány těžkými kovy. Následně jsou popsány jejich fotochemické vlastnosti a možnosti C-H aktivačních či funkcionalizačních reakcí. V experimentální části je popsána nová metoda syntézy azosloučenin obsahujících naftalenový skelet. Následně jsou popsány fotochemické vlastnosti, reaktivita s palladnatými solemi a C-H funkcionalizační reakce nově syntetizovaných látek.

Abstract:

In the theoretical part of this thesis, the possibilities of the synthesis of azo compounds are discussed. The work focuses mainly on syntheses that are catalyzed by heavy metals. Subsequently, their photochemical properties and the possibilities of C-H activation or functionalization reactions are described. In the experimental part, a new method of synthesis of azo compounds containing a naphthalene skeleton is described. Subsequently, photochemical properties, reactivity with palladium salts and C-H functionalization reactions of the newly synthesized substances are described.
