Environmental Impacts of Cultural Landscape Change over Time

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o environmentálních dopadech změn kulturní krajiny v okrese Jihlava od 2. poloviny 20. století po současnost. Práce je strukturována na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části je rozpracována literární rešerše, v praktické části jsou popisovány změny landuse a zveřejněny výstupy rozhovorů s významnými aktéry v okrese Jihlava. Za využití terénního šetření, komparace, analýzy, polostandardizovaného i standardizovaného rozhovoru a SWOT analýzy práce přechází v návrhovou část, kde jsou představena nová možná řešení rozvoje regionu. Z výsledků diplomové práce vyplývá, že dosavadní zachycené změny kulturní krajiny ve sledovaném čase jsou z hlediska environmentálních dopadů mírné. Práce bude veřejně k dispozici a může posloužit jako podklad pro strategické dokumenty nejen okresu Jihlava, ale i jeho obcí.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the environmental impacts of changes in the cultural landscape in the Jihlava district from the second half of the 20th century to the present. The thesis is structured into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part the literature search is elaborated, in the practical part the changes of the landuse are described and the results of interviews with important actors in the Jihlava district are published. Using field research, comparison, analysis, semi-standardized and standardized interviews and SWOT analysis, the thesis moves into the proposal part, where new possible solutions for the development of the region are presented. The results of the thesis show that the captured changes in the cultural landscape over time are moderate in terms of environmental impacts. The thesis will be publicly available and can serve as a basis for strategic documents not only of the Jihlava district but also of its municipalities.
