The Paradiplomacy of Self-Government

Abstract:

Práce představuje exkurzi do fungování zahraniční politiky substátních aktérů. Tento fenomén spojený s několika posledními desetiletími je nazýván paradiplomacie a jako koncept zkoumání slouží i pro účely této práce. V první části je vymezen teoretický rámec paradiplomacie. Ve druhé časti je představena paradiplomacie českých obcí a krajů vzhledem k zahraniční politice francouzských obcí a regionů. V závěru jsou oba dva typy paradiplomacií komparovány a vyhodnoceny. Práce je zpracována v komparativně-analytické metodě a staví na výsledcích provedeného průzkumu.

Abstract:

The graduation thesis represent the excursion to the function of foreign policy of subnational actors. This phenomenon connected with last decades is called paradiplomacy and as a conception of research serve to purpose of this thesis. The teoretical frame of paradiplomacy is introduce in the first part of text. In the second part is presented the paradiplomacy of czech municipalities and regions in reference to foreign policy of french municipalities and regions. Both of this types of paradadiplomacy are compared and evaluated at the conclusion. This thesis is elaborated in method comparatively-analytic end is built on reults of the inquiry lead by author of this text.
