Variability of aquatic invertebrates of spring fens in the Region Kysuce

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá složením společenstva vodních bezobratlých prameništních slatinišť v regionu Kysuce na Slovensku s bližším zaměřením na vodní opaskovce (Clitellata). Bylo vzorkováno celkem 11 lokalit v květnu a září roku 2006 a 2010. Data byla zpracována v programech PC-ORD, CANOCO, STATISTICA a MS EXCEL. Všechny zpracované vzorky byly na základě druhového složení společenstva opaskovců rozděleny do tří skupin. První a druhá skupina zahrnovala vzorky z pěnovcových slatinišť a minerálně bohatých nepěnovcových slatinišť. Třetí skupina obsahovala vzorky z chudých slatinišť. Celkem bylo nalezeno 21 418 jedinců makrozoobentosu, z toho bylo 4 760 opaskovců. Nejnižší taxonová bohatost byla zjištěna na chudých slatiništích. Nejpočetnějšími druhy byli Trichodrilus strandi, Lumbriculus variegatus a Stylodrilus heringianus. Hlavními faktory ovlivňujících složení společenstva opaskovců byly minerální bohatost vody a obsah organického materiálu (ORG250, rs=0,540, p < 0,004 a ORG500, rs=0,327, p < 0,05). Byla zjištěna pozitivní korelace mezi počtem taxonů opaskovců a konduktivitou a mezi počtem taxonů opaskovců a množstvím organického materiálu. Počet jedinců makrozoobentosu pozitivně koreloval s pH a negativně s celkovým organickým uhlíkem (TOC).

Abstract:

This study deals with the structure of aquatic invertebrate assemblages in spring fens in the Kysuce Region, Slovakia. Particular attention is focused on freshwater clitellates. Altogether 11 fen sites were sampled. The field work was conducted in May and September 2006 and 2010. Data were analyzed using PC-ORD, CANOCO, STATISTICA and MS EXCEL applications. Based on species composition of clitellates, three groups of samples were distinguished. Both the first and the second group included samples from tufa-forming fens and mineral rich fens without tufa precipitation. The third group included samples from mineral-poor fens. A total of 21.418 specimen of aquatic invertebrates were found, 4.760 specimen were clitellates. The lowest number of taxa was found in poor fens. The most numerous species were Trichodrilus strandi, Lumbriculus variegatus and Stylodrilus heringianus. The main factors controlling the clitellate assemblages were both mineral richness and substrate characters (ORG250, rs=0,540, p < 0,004 and ORG500, rs=0,327, p < 0,05). A positive correlation between number of clitellate taxa and conductivity as well as organic material content was recorded. The abundance of makrozoobentos positively correlated with pH and negatively with total organic carbon (TOC).
