Influence of intervention program on muscle dysbalance for basketball players in the Karlovy Vary region

Abstract:

V současné době se ve sportu více hledí na výsledky a dosažený výkon, a zdravotní hlediska jsou často zanedbávána. Tento trend mnohdy zasahuje až do mládežnických kategorií, proto je důležité pěstovat vhodné kompenzační návyky již v útlém sportovním věku pro zachování pevného zdraví po celý život. Cílem práce je zjistit aktuální stav svalových dysbalancí u hráček basketbalu Karlovarského kraje a ověřit vliv intervenčního programu na typ dysbalance. Plán je vytvořený vybranými kompenzačními cvičeními podle dostupné odborné literatury. Zaměříme se na nejvíce zatěžované svalstvo v tomto sportu, které ohodnotíme podle vybraných testovacích cvičení. Tyto testy jsme zvolili z publikací Vyrovnáváme i testujeme (Botlíková, 1991) a z publikace Zdravotní tělesná výchova (Matoušová et al., 1992). Obě tyto knihy jsou modifikacemi vycházející z publikace Funkční svalový test (Janda, 1996). Očekáváme, že testovaná skupina žen po splnění osmitýdenního kompenzačního plánu dosáhne lepších výsledků ve vybraných testovacích cvičení. Získané výsledky porovnáme s komparační skupinou, která kompenzační plán neplnila a kompenzovala, jak byla doposud zvyklá. Předpokládáme, že výsledky komparačního souboru zůstanou stejné.

Abstract:

At present, sports are more focused on results and performance, and health considerations are often neglected. This trend often extends to youth categories, so it is important to cultivate appropriate compensatory habits already in the early sporting age to preserve solid health throughout life. The aim of the work is to determine the current state of muscular imbalances of basketball players in the Karlovy Vary Region and to verify the effect of the intervention program on the type of dysbalance. The plan is created by selected compensatory exercises according to available scientific literature. We will focus on the most stressed muscles in this sport, which we evaluate according to selected test exercises. We have selected these tests from the Balancing and Testing Publications (Botlíková, 1991) and from the publication Physical Physical Education (Matoušová et al., 1992). Both of these books are modifications based on the publication of Functional Muscle Test (Janda, 1996). We expect that a test group of women, after completing the eight-week compensation plan, will achieve better results in selected testing exercises. We compare the obtained results with a comparative group that did not fulfill and compensate the compensation plan as it was used to date. We assume that the results of the comparator file will remain the same.
