The diploma thesis deals with the use of elements of somatic basal stimulation in restless patients with impaired consciousness in the intensive care unit at the teaching hospital. It examines the theoretical basis of disorders of consciousness, the issue of the use of restraints in medical facilities and the basal stimulation itself.
