Problems of children` accident rate and orderly work on children summer camp

Abstract:

ANOTACE Cílem bakalářské práce je seznámení se s problematikou úrazovosti dětí a mládeže. Práce se zabývá úrazovosti dvou náhodně vybraných souborů dětí a mládeže. Na prvním z nich jsou statisticky zpracovány úrazy v obecném měřítku dle různých hledisek (dělení podle typu poranění, místa vzniku, aktivity a věku dítěte v době vzniku úrazu, druhu poskytnutí první pomoci, délky léčení či následků úrazů). Údaje jsou srovnávány s dostupnými informacemi Ústavu zdravotnických informací a statistiky Ministerstva zdravotnictví České republiky. Ve druhém souboru je prezentována problematika poranění a výskytu příznaků onemocnění na letním dětském táboře z pohledu práce zdravotníka (vlastní zkušenosti autorky). Vzhledem ke každoročnímu trendu nárůstu počtu úrazů dětí a mládeže v ČR, vyplývajícího ze statistických údajů ÚZIS MZdr ČR, zůstává problematika úrazovosti dětí a mládeže stále aktuálním tématem i do budoucna.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to acquaint with problems concerning accident rate of children and youth. The thesis deals with the accident rate of two randomly chosen groups of children and youth. The injuries of the first group are statistically processed according to the different criteria (e.g. to the type of the injury, to the place where the injury occurred, to the activity and the age of the injured children, to the type of given first aid, to the length of the treatment or to the consequences of the injury). Acquired data are then compared with the available information from the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic. On the second group are presented problems concerning the injuries and the appearance of the illnesses symptoms on children summer camp from the view of the medic (based on the own experiences of the authoress). According to the annual growth of the number of injuries of Czech children and youth, resulting from the statistical data from the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of The Czech Republic, remain problems of the accident rate of children and youth very actual topic even for the future.
