The motor vehicle insurance analysis in the Slovak insurance market conditions

Abstract:

Motor vehicle insurance is divided into mandatory contractual insurance of motor vehicle and voluntary motor insurance. Mandatory contractual insurance is statutory and owner of the car has an obligation to take out insurance in the insurance company of his choice. Voluntary insurance, as the name implies, the owner, respectively holder of a motor vehicle to enter into voluntary way. Final thesis reflects on current issues of motor vehicle insurance. Theoretically approaching the insurance industry, focusing on the analysis of the product mandatory contractual insurance and voluntary insurance in insurance company KOOPERATIVA, a.s., VIG. The aim of the work is to define and analyze motor vehicle insurance of individuals in the Slovak market insurance conditions, focusing on mandatory contractual insurance, accident (voluntary) insurance, windscreen insurance and GAP insurance. In the first chapter we theoretically define motor vehicle insurance, and subsequently classify it according to aspect of the vehicle. The second chapter will define mandatory contractual insurance in theory, with emphasis on legislative provisions. The third chapter describes in more detail the voluntary insurance in connection with a motor vehicle, respectively further defines the importance of voluntary insurance. In the fourth chapter of the final thesis we analyze motor insurance of clients in selected insurance company in drawing conclusions and using adequate methods of induction and deduction, we conclude adequate conclusions insurability of client and motor vehicle.

Abstract:

Poistenie motorového vozidla sa člení na povinné zmluvné poistenie zodpovednosti z prevádzky motorového vozidla a dobrovoľné poistenie motorového vozidla. Povinné zmluvné poistenie vyplýva zo zákona a vlastník motorového vozidla má povinnosť uzatvoriť poistenie v poisťovni, ktorú si vyberie podľa vlastného presvedčenia. Dobrovoľné poistenie, ako už vyplýva z názvu, vlastník, resp. držiteľ motorového vozidla uzatvára dobrovoľne k povinnému zmluvnému poisteniu. Záverečná práca reflektuje na aktuálne otázky poistenia motorového vozidla. Teoreticky približuje poisťovací priemysel, pričom sa zameriava na analýzu produktu povinného zmluvného poistenia a dobrovoľného poistenia v poisťovacej spoločnosti KOOPERATIVA, a.s., VIG. Cieľom záverečnej práce je vymedziť a analyzovať poistenia motorového vozidla fyzických osôb v podmienkach Slovenskej republiky, so zameraním na povinné zmluvné poistenie, havarijné poistenie, poistenie čelného skla a GAP poistenie. V prvej kapitole približujeme teoretické vymedzenie poistenia motorového vozidla a následne ho klasifikujeme s aspektom na motorové vozidlo. V druhej kapitole vymedzujeme povinné zmluvné poistenie v teoretickej rovine s dôrazom na legislatívne ustanovenia. Tretia kapitola detailnejšie popisuje dobrovoľné poistenie v spojitosti s motorovým vozidlom, resp. bližšie stanovuje význam havarijného poistenia. V štvrtej kapitole záverečnej práce analyzujeme poistenie motorového vozidla skúmaných klientov vo vybranej poisťovni s vyvodením adekvátnych záverov a s využitím metód indukcie a dedukcie vyvodzujeme adekvátne závery poistiteľnosti klienta a motorového vozidla.
