Analysis of motivation for work performance of social workers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá oblastí motivace k výkonu v profesním kontextu. Cílem práce je analýza motivace k pracovnímu výkonu u zaměstnanců sociálních služeb v závislosti na délce jejich praxe a věku. V teoretické části jsou zpracována témata vztahující se ke zvolenému zaměření, zejména se jedná o otázky týkající se motivace k pracovnímu výkonu a problematiky poskytování sociálních služeb. Praktickou část tvoří výsledky standardizovaného dotazníkového šetření metodou LMI - Leistungsmotivationsinventar (Schuler a kol., 2011). Cílem výzkumného šetření je analyzovat, zjistit, nalézt a porovnat odlišnosti ve vztahu motivace k výkonu v profesním kontextu u vybrané skupiny respondentů v závislosti na délce jejich praxe a věku. Na základě výzkumu jsou formulovány závěry a doporučení, která lze využít v praxi sociální pedagogiky a dalších disciplín tzv. pomáhajících profesí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the area of motivation to perform in a professional context. The aim of the work is to analyze the motivation to work for employees of social services depending on the length of their practice and age. The theoretical part deals with topics related to the chosen focus, especially issues related to motivation to work and the issue of providing social services. The practical part consists of the results of a standardized questionnaire survey using the LMI method - Leistungsmotivationsinventar (Schuler et al., 2011). The aim of the research is to analyze, identify, find and compare differences in the relationship of motivation to performance in a professional context for a selected group of respondents depending on the length of their practice and age. Based on the research, conclusions and recommendations are formulated that can be used in the practice of social pedagogy and other disciplines of the so-called helping professions.
