Authority manager from a psychological point of view

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce má za cíl v ucelené a hlubší formě poskytnout pohled na autoritu manažera z psychologického pohledu. Po krátkém ohlédnutí na teorii osobnosti se práce zaměřuje na samotnou autoritu, schopnosti a vlastnosti úspěšného manažera a na jeho styl řízení. Teoretická část práce se dále zabývá ovlivňováním v pracovním procesu, s důrazem na pojmy jako je komunikace a motivace. Ve výsledkové části bylo provedeno studentské šetření u vybrané společnosti. Hlavním cílem práce je okomentování a shrnutí výsledků studentského šetření, které spočívalo ve sběru dat na základě kvalitativní a kvantitativní metody sběru dat, pomocí polostrukturovaného rozhovoru a dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on providing a view of manager's authority from the point of view of psychology in a coherent and deeper form. After a short excursion concerning theory of personality, the thesis concentrates on the authority itself, the skills and features of a successful manager and his management style. The theoretical part of this thesis deals furthermore with a role of affecting during the working process, with accented conceptions of communication and motivation. In the result section, the student survey of selected company. The main aim is to comment and resume the results of the student survey which was based on the data collection according to qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection, on the semi-structured interview and the questionnaire construction.
