School class climate in connection with the integration of Ukrainian pupils

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na oblast školního klimatu. Přesněji, zabývá se aktuálním třídním klimatem. Jejím cílem je zjistit, jaká atmosféra a klima panuje ve třídách, do kterých byli zařazeni ukrajinští žáci. Jaký vliv má tato skutečnost na vztahy ve třídě, kvalitu výuky a učitele, a to z pohledu žáků samotných. Rovněž má práce poukázat na to, že sociální klima třídy je důležité pro kvalitní fungování celé skupiny. V teoretické části je práce zaměřena na klima třídy, jeho aktéry a faktory, které jej ovlivňují. Další text se věnuje integraci žáků. Praktická část vychází z metody kvantitativního šetření dle Mareše a Ježka (2012) na dostupném vzorku deseti tříd 2. stupně základních škol v Ústí nad Labem a jeho blízkém okolí. Odpovědi žáků jednotlivých tříd na zadané otázky jsou sumarizovány a vyhodnoceny. Na základě shrnutí výsledků jsou formulována doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the area of school climate. More precisely, it deals with the current class climate. Its goal is to find out what kind of atmosphere and climate prevails in the classes in which Ukrainian pupils were enrolled. What effect does this fact have on the relationships in the classroom, the quality of teaching and the teacher, from the point of view not only of the pupils, but also of the teacher. The thesis also aims to point out that the social climate of the class is important for the quality functioning of the entire group. In the theoretical part, the paper is focused on the classroom climate, its actors and factors that influence it. The next text deals with the integration of pupils. The practical part is based on the method of quantitative investigation according to Mareš and Ježek (2012) on an available sample of ten second grade classes of elementary schools in Ústí nad Labem and its vicinity The answers of students of individual classes to the given questions are summarized and evaluated. Based on the summary, recommendations for practice are formulated.
