Abstract:

Práce s názvem „Integrace vietnamské menšiny očima české veřejnosti – případová studie Zlínského kraje“ se bude zabývat začleňováním vietnamské menšiny v České republice s regionálním zaměřením na Zlínský kraj. Vietnamská menšina je třetí nejpočetnější menšinou v České republice a je důležité sledovat, jaký na ni mají obyvatelé České republiky pohled. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na diskuzi existující literatury na téma vlivu sociodemografických faktorů na vnímání cizinců a také se zaměřuje na vnímání vietnamské menšiny českou veřejností celkově. Cílem práce je zmapování vnímání integrace vietnamské komunity obyvateli Zlínského kraje. Práce se ptá, jaké faktory ovlivňují naše postoje k cizincům, a cílí na sociodemografické faktory a jejich vliv na postoj k Vietnamcům: pohlaví, věk, vzdělání, sociální status, politická orientace, velikost místa bydliště a osobní zkušenost. Samotný výzkum má podobu dotazníku (kvantitativní výzkum), který byl distribuován občanům České republiky s trvalým pobytem na území Zlínského kraje. Obyvatelé Zlínského kraje se s Vietnamci setkávají spíše příležitostně a mají na ně spíše pozitivní pohled, a to díky službám, které Vietnamci nabízejí a jejich pracovitosti. Nejvíce má na toto vliv právě tato osobní zkušenost, věk a sociální status člověka.

Abstract:

The work entitled "Integration of Vietnamese minority through the eyes of the Czech Public – the case study of Zlín Region" will deal with the integration of Vietnamese minority in the Czech Republic with a regional focus on the Zlín Region. The Vietnamese minority is the third largest minority in the Czech Republic and it is important to monitor the view of the Czech population. The theoretical part follow up the discussion of existing literature on the perception of foreigners and it was also examined how Vietnamese are generally percieved by Czech public as a whole. The aim of the thesis is to map the perception of integration of the Vietnamese community by the inhabitants of the Zlín Region. The thesis asks which factors influence our attitudes towards foreigners and aims at socio-demographic factors and their influence on attitude towards Vietnamese: gender, age, education, social status, political orientation, size of place of residence and personal experience. The research itself takes form of a questionnaire (quantitative research), which was distributed to Czech citizens with permanent residence in the Zlín Region. The inhabitants of the Zlin region meet the Vietnamese rather occasionally and have a rather positive view of them thanks to the services they offer and their diligence. It is personal experience, the age and social status of the person that most influ-ences their stance.
