Robotics and automation in teaching at the 2nd level of primary school

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo vytvořit aktivity na pochopení automatizace a robotizace na 2. stupni základní školy bez použití technologií. Bylo vytvořeno 10 aktivit, které měli stupňující tendenci od nejjednodušší až po složitější. Tyto aktivity byly zaměřeny primárně na algoritmizaci a vývojové diagramy. Celkem je absolvovalo 42 žáků ze 2 základních škol. Výsledky po absolvování všech aktivit dokazují, že žáci chápou a dokážou popsat základní pojmy spojené s automatizací a robotizací a dokážou vytvořit vývojový diagram automatizovaného stroje

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to create activities for understanding automation and robotics in the 2nd level of primary school without the use of technology. 10 activities were created, that had escalating tendencies from the simplest to the most complex. These activities were focused primarily on algorithmization and flowcharts. A total of 42 pupils from 2 primary schools have completed. The results after completing all the activities prove that the students understand and can describe the basic concepts associated with automation and robotization and can create a flowchart of an automated machine.
