Dizertační práce se zabývá účinkem haloperidolu na QT interval elektrogramu izolované srdce. Jedná se o experimentální práci, v které bylo využito dvou animálních modelů – modelu morčete dlouhodobě vystaveného haloperidolu a neuro-vývojového modelu schizofrenie u potkana. Abstract:
The Ph.D. thesis is aimed on the effects of haloperidol on QT interval of an isolated heart electrogram. It is based on two experimental studies. Two animal models were used – long-term haloperidol treated guinea pig model and rat neurodevelopmental model of schizophrenia. Based on the results, a role of sigma 1 receptor in haloperidol-induced QT prolongation is discusses.
