Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na mexickou drogovou válku a její dopady na americko-mexické vztahy mezi lety 2017 až 2021. Ve zvoleném období zkoumá administrativu amerického prezidenta Donalda Trumpa a dvě administrativy mexických prezidentů Enriqua Pena Nieta a Andrése Manuela Lópeze Obradora. V rámci obou stran řeší jejich prostředky, úkony a východiska v kontextu s mexickou drogovou válkou, a to do jaké míry měly negativní nebo pozitivní vliv na vzájemné vztahy. Celou problematiku sleduje na politické, sociální, vojenské, bezpečnostní, historické a ekonomické rovině.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the Mexican drug war and its effects on US-Mexico relations between 2017 and 2021. The thesis examines the administration of US President Donald Trump and the two administrations of Mexican Presidents Enrique Pena Nieto and Andrés Manuel López Obrador in the selected period. Within the framework of both parties, the work deals with their means, actions and solutions in the context of the Mexican drug war, and to what extent they had a negative or positive effect on mutual relations. The work follows the entire issue on a political, social, military, security, historical and economic level.
