Sacral architecture 19th century on Hlučin

Abstract:

Architektura na Hlučínsku mezi lety 1880 ? 19141) je přímo zrcadlem odrážejícím politickou nestabilitu doby, nerovné společenské poměry a dualitu národnostní příslušnosti. Zatím, co se v centrech Pruského i Rakouského Slezska setkáváme s výstavbou množství staveb určených pro reprezentativní účely, veřejnými budovami, se stavbami tvořícími dělnické kolonie, i dopravní síť, Hlučínsko je v tomto ohledu na jistém bodu stagnace a jeho veškerá stavební aktivita se upírá k sakrální architektuře. Ačkoliv tyto stavby vznikaly v návaznosti na přilehlé oblasti Ostravska, Bohumínska i Ratibořska2) dokázala si krajina, i přes prolínání stylů a působení totožných stavitelů, přece jen zachovat svůj osobitý ráz, jemuž dominuje právě sakrální architektura. Smyslem této práce není zahltit čtenáře množstvím biografických údajů či podrobnou prezentací pro něj nedostupného a neznámého materiálu. Cílem je rozšířit faktografický základ o jednotlivých stavbách, nástínit a interpretovat obecné otázky spojené se stavebním a slohovým vývojem a rolí, kterou tato sakrální architektura na přelomu století zastávala. Podrobný popis sakrální architektury je již zpracován v diplomové práci Martina Břenka.

Abstract:

The research for the study of sacral architecture of Hlučínsko in year 1894 ? 1907 has proven indigenous suppositions that we outlined in the introduction. The state of inertion of the art historians can be cansed by several factors. We can see big diverzion of styles trough which appeared on buildings of that time economical weakness of the region, complicated history and political events. Buildings seew like they have been built rather by engineers than architects. It?s clear that for historians it has always been more interesting what was happening in more important places of that time, ( Praque, Wien, Berlin) where people were accepting new trends faster. Hlučínsko of that times was inconsistent land. Sacral art was supported by the Roman Catolic church as well as by aristocracy. This means that the building of the church meant not only the collection of the spiritual forces but the church has always been the symbol of whole village and the evidence of care of the aristocracy for the life of common people. I tried to find reasons for the rapid cultural evolution of this land at this time, but many aspects are still waiting for explanation. We can say, that architecture in Hlučínsko can be quite interesting for visitors of this region, because this sacral buildings can easily show the differences between this region and its surroundings, because today it is still carefuly being repaired and not rebuilt or destroyed by peoples indolence like most of all buildings of its time.
