The Role of the Zootherapist in the Early Care Multidisciplinary Team

Anotácia:

Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat a objasnit roli zooterapeuta v multidisciplinárním týmu rané péče. Cílem teoretické části práce je vymezit terminologická, empirická a metodologická východiska práce, objasnit termíny zooterapie, zooterapeut, multidisciplinární tým a raná péče. Cílem výzkumné části práce bylo zjistit, jakou zkušenost má zooterapeut s vnímáním své role ve vybraném hiporehabilitačním týmu v okrese Frýdek- Místek a jak ostatní členové vnímají jeho roli v týmu. Ve výzkumu byla použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie se zaměřením na případovou studii, za využití techniky polostrukturovaných rozhovorů byly zpracovány data formou otevřeného kódování. Následně byla získaná data zhodnocena a reflektována s teoretickými poznatky.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis i s to analyze and clarify the role of the zootherapist in the multidisciplinary early care team, using theoretical and empirical research. The theoretical portion defines the terminological, empirical, and methodological starting points of the thesis. Terms that are clarified include zootherapy, zootherapist, multidisciplinary team and early care. The empirical portion explores the experience of a zootherapist with the perception of his role within the hiporehabilitation team in the Frýdek-Místek district along with how other members perceive his role in the team. Qualitative research is employed through a focus on one case study using semi-structured interviews. Data is processed using open coding before evaluation and synthesis with theoretical findings.
