Abstract:

Tato studie se zabývá politikou cestovního ruchu Evropské unie s konkrétním zaměřením na politiku cestovního ruchu České republiky. Cílem této práce je analyzovat politiku cestovního ruchu vybrané země zaměřenou na problematiku domácí poptávky a odhalit možná doporučení, které mohou pomoci minimalizovat tento problém. Výzkum se zaměřuje na analýzu domácí poptávky v Evropské unii jako celku, aby pochopil její význam. Studie se omezuje na analýzu cestovního ruchu České republiky a problematiku domácího cestovního ruchu v zemi. K dosažení tohoto cíle byly provedeny rozhovory s odborníky, které vedli k získání hlubokých znalostí. Autor také použil dotazníky, aby lépe porozuměl problému a mohl poskytnou přesnější návrhy. Důležitost domácího cestovního ruchu v rozsahu České republiky, stejně jako na úrovni Evropské unie, je uznávána, ale politika cestovního ruchu je ignorována. Výsledky ukazují, že Česká republika čelí problému stagnující domácí poptávky, zatímco příliv cestovního ruchu prožívá růst i po těžkých dobách, jako je hospodářská krize. Prozkoumat tento problém je zásadní pro vypracování komplexního výzkumu, který by analyzoval preference poptávaných turistů. Podle zjištění autor představil soubor návrhů a doporučení, které mohou pomoci zlepšit situaci, jako je zvyšování povědomí o méně populárních destinacích, poskytování atraktivních balíčků a nabídek kvalitativních služeb za přijatelnou cenu, organizování akcí a další.

Abstract:

This study deals with the tourism policy of European Union and focuses more specifically on the tourism policy of the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the tourism policy of the selected country concentrating on the issue of domestic demand and to detect possible recommendations that can aid minimizing this concern. The research focuses on analysing the domestic demand in the European Union as a whole in order to understand its importance. The study is narrowed down to the analysis of the tourism policy of the Czech Republic and the issue of domestic tourism in the country. To fulfil the aim, interviews with experts were conducted to gain in-depth knowledge and the author used questionnaires to achieve a better understanding of the issue and provide more accurate suggestions. The importance of domestic tourism at the scale of the Czech Republic, as well as at the level of European Union is acknowledged, but ignored by the tourism policy. The results show that the Czech Republic faces the issue of stagnating domestic demand, while the inbound tourism is experiencing growth even after difficult times, such as the economic crisis. To explore the issue, it is fundamental to elaborate a comprehensive research that would analyse the preferences of tourists. According to the findings, the author presented a set of recommendations that can help ameliorate the situation, such as increasing awareness of less popular destinations, providing attractive packages and offers of qualitative services at an affordable price and organizing events, and other suggestions.
