Metabolism of benzophenanthridine alkaloids and their interaction with G-quadruplexes

Metabolism of benzophenanthridine alkaloids and their interaction with G-quadruplexes
Abstract:
V této práci jsme studovali metabolismus benzofenantridinových alkaloidů (alkaloidy sanguinarin, sanguilutin, sanguirubin, chelerytrin, chelilutin, chelirubin a makarpin) a jejich interakce s nekanonickými strukturami DNA. Enzymatický aparát CYP450 z mikrozomů z potkaních jater byl použit pro produkci metabolitů těchto 7 alkaloidů a ty byly následně detekovány vysokoúčinnou kapalinovou chromatografií …more
Abstract:
In this work, we have studied the metabolism and non-canonical DNA interactions of benzo[c]phenanthridine alkaloids – sanguinarine, sanguilutine, sanguirubine, chelerythrine, chelilutine, chelirubine and macarpine. Rat liver microsomes were used to produce metabolites of the 7 alkaloids by the CYP450 enzymatic apparatus and these were then detected by high-performance liquid chromatography coupled …more
