Litomyšl urban greenery and a proposal for the greening of a brownfield

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá přeměnou drážního brownfield uprostřed průmyslových zón v Litomyšli. Východiskem práce je zmapování a popis městské zeleně v Litomyšli s detailním zaměřením na provoz, funkci a kompozici. Práce se zabývá změnou funkce modelového území ve veřejný prostor k rekreaci v podobě přírodě podobného vegetačního prvku. Tato změna přispěje k vylepšení mikroklima místa, zvýšení bezpečnosti, vyřešení střetů dopravy a zvýšení návštěvnosti. V rámci řešeného území navrhuji 4 typy společenstev, z nichž 2 společenstva budou obohacena ve floristickém složení o letničky a trvalky. Využity jsou principy sukcese a autoregulace pro vývoj a řízení společenstev.

Abstract:

This work deals with the transformation of a railway brownfield in the middle of industrial zones in Litomyšl. The starting point of the work is the mapping and description of urban greenery in Litomyšl with a detailed focus on operation, function and composition. The work deals with changing the function of the model area into a public space for recreation in the form of a nature-like vegetation element. This change will contribute to improving the microclimate of the place, increasing safety, resolving traffic conflicts, and increasing attendance. I propose 4 types of communities within the area under consideration. 2 communities will be enriched in the floristic composition of annuals and perennials. The principles of succession and self-regulation are used for the development and management of communities.
