Tato práce analyzuje volební reformy a jejich bezprostřední dopady na chování voličů a politiků v Papui-Nové Guinei. Problematika volebních reforem je zkoumána skrze koncept S. M. Shugarta, podle kterého je každá volební reforma důsledkem dvou příčin – inherentních a kontingenčních. This work analyzes electoral reforms and their direct impact on the behaviour of voters and political elite in Papua New Guinea. The issue of electoral reform is examined with respect to the views of M. S. Shugart who considers every electoral change as the consequence of two factors – inherent and contingent.
