Factors of state failure in the era of globalization

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá selháváním státu v období globalizace. Je zde definován pojem globalizace, její měření a dopady. Pozornost je dále věnována selhávání státu, které zahrnuje charakteristiku sledovaných států (Česká republika, Francie, Maďarsko) a metody zkoumání funkčnosti států. Na základě vývoje hodnot indexu globalizace, indexu vnímání korupce a indexu nestabilních států je provedena analýza vztahů závislosti těchto indexů.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with state failure in the era of globalization. The notion of globalization, its measurement and impacts are defined here. Attention is given to state failure, which includes the characteristics of the monitored states (Czech Republic, France, Hungary) and methods of investigation of failed states. On the basis of development of values of Globalization Index, Corruption Perception Index and Fragile States Index is performed the analysis of the relations of dependence of these indexes.
