Receivables and Liabilities from the Business Relationship in the Selected Company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na pohledávky a závazky z obchodních vztahů s cílem do-poručit jejich vhodné řízení s dopadem na hospodářský výsledek společnosti. Teoretická část je rozdělena na pět základních částí, z nichž první je úvodem do zúčtovacích vztahů, na ni navazuje kapitola zaměřena na pohledávky a jejich vznik, ocenění, rozdělení a další aspekty týkající se pohledávek až po jejich zánik. Samostatnou část tvoří zajištění pohledávek, jejímž cílem je zamezit vzniku pohledávek po splatnosti. Na případné nedodržení termínu splatnosti navazuje závěrečný oddíl zaměřený na pohledávky a jejich řízení po lhůtě splatnosti. V závěru teoretické části práce jsou charakterizovány závazky a jejich životní cyklus v účetnictví. Úvodem praktické části je představení společnosti a následná stručná majetková a finanční analýza, na kterou bude navazovat analýza pohledávek a závazků s využitím ukazatelů aktivity a poměrových ukazatelů. Zhodnocen bude také systém řízení pohledávek ve společnosti a opravné položky spolu s odpisy. Výstupem bakalářské práce je vyhodnocení současného stavu a vytvoření návrhu reagujícího na zjištěné nedostatky a doporučení pro efektivní řízení pohledávek a závazků ve společnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on receivables and liabilities from the business relation-ship in the selected company, having a goal to recommend their appropriate management with respect to a company economic result. The theoretical part is divided into five parts, first part consists introduction to business relations, followed by second part focused on receivables - specifically their creation, valuation, division and other aspects until their termination. Securing of receivables is the subject of the next separate chapter, having a goal to prevent from overdue receivables. Eventual missed due date is followed by a final section focused on receivables and their overdue management. Liabilities from business relations and their life cycle in accounting are characterized at the end of the theoretical part. Introduction of the practical part consists of the company profile and brief balance sheet analysis, followed by analysis of receivables and liabilities using activity and ratio indicators. Company's receivable management is being also assessed, together with adjust-ment items for receivables and depreciation of receivables. The output of the bachelor thesis is an evaluation of the current situation and creation of a proposal, which responds to discovered shortcomings and presents recommendations for effective management of company receivables and liabilities.
