Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem problematiky vegetačních střech, jejich historií a důležitým významem v dnešním stavebnictví a životě jako takovém. Dále jsou v diplomové práci podrobně přiblíženy jednotlivé vrstvy souvrství vegetačních střech, jejich funkce a význam.
