Animation of public concourse using street art

Abstract:

Práce se v teoretické části zabývá animací veřejného prostranství prostřednictvím využití street artu. Zaměřuje se na rozlišování pojmů veřejného prostoru a prostranství a snaží se vytyčit hodnocení kvality veřejného prostranství a jejich možnosti měření. Praktická část se zaměřuje na veřejná prostranství Městské části Dolní Počernice. V prvním výzkumném úkolu jsou vybraná prostranství bodově ohodnocena dle sedmi kvalitativních faktorů. Dále je vybráno pět prostranství s nejvyšším bodovým ohodnocením; jejich řešení s využitím street artu bylo předloženo k posouzení vzorku obyvatel Počernic. Pro občany definitivně vybrané prostranství byl zpracován dokument Předprojektová fáze, který bude sloužit jako manuál při konečném řešení záměru.

Abstract:

The theoretical part focuses on distinguishing the concepts of public space and tries to outline differences of the quality of public spaces and their measurement possibilities. It also shows the difference between traditional public spaces and specific public spaces. The practical part focuses on the public spaces of Dolní Počernice. In the first research of the assignment, public spaces of Dolní Počernice are outlined and scored according to seven quality factors. Five areas with the highest score are then further evaluated by the citizens of Dolní Počernice. The animation of the public space itself is then applied to area selected by citizens.
