Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat roli Iráku v americko-ruských vztazích, zejména od roku 2003. Autorka čerpá z teorie sektorového pojetí bezpečnosti a s použitím tří sektorů – vojenského, politického a ekonomického, se snaží odpovědět na výzkumnou otázku, zda Irák hrál primární roli nebo se jednalo pouze o jeho připojení ke globálním zájmům Spojených států a Ruské Federace. Abstract:
The goal of the thesis is to analyse role of Iraq in US-Russia relations, particularly since 2003. Author derives starting points from sectoral framework theory and by applying three sectors – military, political and economic, trying to answer research question, whether Iraq has played a role of primary importance or it was attached to other, more global interests of the US and Russian Federation. …more
