Self-Perception of school performance success among secondary school children with specific learning disorders

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou sebepojetí žáků se specifickou poruchou učení. Teoretická část práce se v krátkých jednotlivých kapitolách věnuje problematice související se zvoleným tématem, jedná se především o specifické poruchy učení a jejich definování, popis jednotlivých druhů, příčiny či diagnostika SPU, a následně sebepojetí a sebehodnocení žáků s SPU v různých vybraných oblastech. V praktické části jsou představeny výsledky výzkumu, který je blíže specifikován v empirické části práce. Výzkum vycházel z výsledků výzkumného šetření pomocí standardizovaného dotazníku Sebepojetí školní úspěšnosti dětí SPAS. Svůj výzkum jsem zaměřila na žáky středních odborných škol a gymnázií. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 111 žáků středních odborných škol, a 184 žáků gymnázií. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaké jsou rozdíly v sebepojetí žáků na těchto typech škol, a jaká je rozdílnost ve skupinách žáků intaktních a se specifickou poruchou učení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of self-concept of pupils with specific learning disa-bilities. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with issues related to the selected topic, espe-cially the specific learning disabilities (SPU) and their definition, description of each species, causes or diagnostics of SPU, and subsequently self-concept and self-evaluation of pupils with specific learning disabilities. The practical part presents the results of the research, which is specified in the empirical part of the thesis. The research was based on the results of the research using the standardized questionnaire Self-concept of school success of SPAS chil-dren. I focused my research on students of secondary technical schools and grammar schools. 111 students of secondary technical schools and 184 students of grammar schools participated in the research. The aim of this work was to find out what are the differences in self-concept of pupils in these types of schools and what is the difference in groups of pupils intact and with specific learning disabilities
