Frida Kahlo: Pain, Passion and Diligence of Great Painter

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the person of painter Frida Kahlo. The thesis is divided into three chapters, readers are gradually familiarized with the life and creation of this painter. The first chapter of the theoretical part introduces Mexico from the view of geography, history, and especially art. Then we continue in chapter two with the life of the painter herself. The last chapter, in the practical part, I deal with the analysis of the works. These works are divided into three subchapters according to their name. We will get familiarize with nine pictures during the analysis. The aim is to prove, that with knowledge from the theoretical part, it is possible to interpret, though as an amateur, almost any picture because painter´s life is the main theme of all paintings. We summarize the findings from the practical part in the conclusion.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá osobou malířky Fridy Kahlo. Je rozdělena do tří kapitol, ve kterých postupně seznamujeme čtenáře se životem a tvorbou této malířky. V první kapitole části teoretické představujeme Mexiko. A to z pohledu geografie, historie a především umění. Následně pokračujeme v kapitole druhé s životem samotné malířky. A v poslední kapitole, již v části praktické se věnuji rozboru děl, které jsou dle názvu práce, rozděleny do tří podkapitol. Během analýzy se seznámíme s devíti obrazy. Cílem je dokázat, že se znalostmi z části teoretické je možné vyložit, ačkoli jako amatér, téměř jakýkoliv obraz, protože právě její život je hlavní téma všech jejich maleb. V závěru pak shrnujeme poznatky z praktické části.
