Recrutiting and selection of employees within the framework of the company strategy

Abstract:

Anotace Cílem této diplomové práce je zhodnotit, zda strategie vybrané společnosti v oblasti získávání a výběru zaměstnanců odpovídá jejím potřebám. První část práce je teoretická, čtenář se zde může seznámit s pojmy týkajícími se strategie organizace, kulturou organizace, personální strategie, personální politiky a dále jednotlivými personálními činnostmi. Blíže je zde také přiblížen vztah celkové strategie ke strategii personální a jednotlivým personálním činnostem. Praktická část práce se zabývá detailnější charakteristikou zkoumané organizace, popisem metod použitých při jednotlivých analýzách a jejich výsledky. Výsledkem práce je zhodnocení, do jaké míry strategie v oblasti získávání a výběru zaměstnanců odpovídá potřebám firmy plynoucích ze strategie a navržení určitých změn, pro to, aby tyto personální činnosti lépe korespondovaly se záměry společnosti a fází rozvoje, ve kterém se společnost nalézá. Abstract:

Annotation The aim of this dissertation is to identify if the strategy of one selected company in the area of recruitment and selection of employees conforms to the companys needs. The first part of the dissertation is theoretical and offers to the reader information and definitions related to the corporate and personnel strategy, organizational culture, personnel politics and particular personnel functions. This part also approaches the relation between the corporate and personnel strategy and personnel functions. The key part of the dissertation is the practical part, that is more detailed focused on the organisational characteristics, description of the research methods used for analyses and recognized data. The result of the dissertation is identification to what degree the strategy in the area of recruitment and selection conforms companys needs and suggestion specific actions as the personnel functions could better correspond with the companys goals and progress phase in which the company stands.
