Multicultural partnership relations

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje analýze specifik multikulturních partnerských vztahů a identifikaci potenciálních problémů vzhledem k majoritní společnosti. Mezi dílčí cíle se řadí popis multikulturalismu společně se související oblastmi jako je partnerský vztah či kultura, vliv samotné kultury na partnerské vztahy a identifikace reálných bariér. Teoretická část obsahuje rešerši literatury týkající se fenoménu multikulturních partnerských vztahů společně se souvisejícími oblastmi jako je působení kultury na tento typ vztahů a jednotlivé výzvy či bariéry. Empirická část se následně věnuje stanovení jednotlivých hypotéz a výzkumnému dotazníkovému šetření, které potvrzuje či vyvrací stanovené domněnky. V závěru práce jsou odhaleny a vyjasněny klíčové výzvy či bariéry a zároveň jsou za pomocí výsledků výzkumu vyvráceny některá mylná přesvědčení o multikulturním partnerství a jeho potenciálních problémech.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focus on the analysis of the specifics of multicultural partnership relations and the identification of potential problems in relation to the majority society. Among the sub- objectives is the description of multiculturalism together with related areas such as partner relationship or culture, the influence of culture itself on partner relationships and the identification of real barriers. The theoretical part contains a literature search related to the phenomenon of multicultural partner relationships together with related areas such as the effect of culture on this type of relationship and individual challenges or barriers. The empirical part devotes on establishing individual hypotheses and a research questionnaire survey that confirmed or refuted the established assumptions. In the conclusion of the thesis, key challenges or barriers are revealed and clarified, and at the same time, with the help of research results, some incorrect beliefs about multicultural partnership and its potential problems are refuted.
