The paper is devoted to the fundamental and technical analysis factors influencing the crude oil prices movements and volatility. The main aim of my thesis is the identification of the key factors influencing everyday crude oil price movements and on the basis of these carried out surveys and their results opening trading positions on oil futures market. Diplomová práce se věnuje faktorům fundamentální a technické analýzy které ovlivňují vývoj světové ceny ropy a jejich výkyvy. Hlavním cílem mé práce je snaha identifikovat takové klíčové faktory které způsobují každodenní výkyvy cen ropy a následně na základě těchto uskutečněných pozorování a jejich výsledků otevřít obchodní pozici na futures ropném trhu.
