Winnie the Pooh as a phenomenon of children's literature in Czech and Russian environment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Medvídek Pú jako fenomén dětské literatury v českém a ruském prostředí si klade za cíl prozkoumat Medvídka Pú jako fenomén a srovnat jeho místo v rámci dětské literatury v českém a ruském prostředí. V teoretické části nastíní vznik Medvídka Pú a historii původní knihy Winnie-the-Pooh A. A. Milnea. Dále mapuje formování a vývoj fenoménu Medvídek Pú. Stěžejní část se pak v rovině teoretické zaměřuje na český překlad Medvídek Pú, který vytvořila Hana Skoumalová a pohádku Vinni-Puch, kterou podle anglické verze do ruštiny převyprávěl Boris Zachoder. Praktická část analyzuje a srovnává publikace Medvídek Pú a Vinni-Puch z hlediska charakteru postav, syžetu a kompozice textu s přihlédnutím k anglickému originálu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis Winnie-the-Pooh as a phenomenon of children's literature in Czech and Russian environment aims to explore Winnie-the-Pooh as a phenomenon and compare its place in the children's literature in Czech and Russian environment. In the theoretical section outlines the origin of Winnie-the-Pooh and the history of the original book Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne. Then it also maps the formation and evolution of the phenomenon Winnie-the-Pooh. The core part on the theoretical level focuses on the Czech translation of Winnie-the-Pooh, created by Hana Skoumalová and a fairytale Vinni-Puch, which was according to the English version retold into Russian language by Boris Zachoder. The practical part analyzes and compares the publications of Winnie-the-Pooh and Vinni-Puch in terms of nature of the characters, storyline and is taking into account the English original.
