Risky forms of communication in cyberspace

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo vytvořit analýzu vybraných forem rizikové komunikace v kyberprostoru (kyberšikana, kyberstalking, sexting a masquerading) a jejich protagonistů. Výzkumný soubor zahrnoval 411 studentů ze středních škol v oblasti Moravskoslezského kraje. Průměrný věk činil 16,8 let (SD = 1,54). Výzkumu se účastnilo 76,4% žen a 23,6% mužů. Pro účely tohoto kvantitativního výzkumu byl vytvořen Dotazník rizikového chování v kyberprostoru, jehož autorkou je PhDr. Viktória Kopuničová, PhD. Sběr dat proběhl elektronicky. Výsledky výzkumu ukazují, že oběťmi se v nejvyšší míře stávali kamarád/kamarádka, spolužák/spolužačka a exkamarád/exkamarádka, popřípadě přítel/přítelkyně. Naopak oběti rizikové komunikace označili za nejčastějšího agresora spolužáka/spolužačku, expřítele/expřítelkyni, kamaráda/kamarádku a také neznámého člověka. Nejvíce zastoupeným prostředkem vybraných forem rizikové komunikace z pohledu obětí se stalo datové uložiště, chat nebo diskuse na webu a zasílání e-mailů. Agresoři nejčastěji na svou oběť zaútočili prostřednictvím chatu/diskuse na webu, zasíláním SMS a MMS zpráv.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to create the analysis of chosen forms of risk communication in the cyberspace (cyberbullying, cyberstalking, sexting and masquerading) and their protagonists. The survey assemblage consisted of 411 students of secondary schools in the Moraviasilesia region. The average age was 16.8 (SD = 1,54). In the survey there were participated 76.4% women and 23.6% men. For the purpose of this quantitative research there was created The questionnaire of risk behaviour in the cyberspace, whose author is PhDr. Viktória Kopuničová, PhD. Data collection was performed electronically. The survey results show victims became to a large extent from a male/female friend, a male/female classmate and ex-friend or else ex-girlfriend and ex-boyfriend. On the contrary victims of risk communication marked as the most frequent aggressor a male/female classmate, ex-boyfriend/ex-girlfriend, friend and also an unknown person. The most frequently represented medium of the chosen forms of risk communication was data storage, chat or discussion on the web and sending e-mails from the view of victims. Aggressors attacked their victim by means of chat/discussion on the web, SMS and MMS messages. Furthermore the survey was focused on the most frequent form of transition from cyberstalking to direct physical stalking.
