Social work with unplanned pregnant women in Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí, a to teoretické a aplikační. Teoretická část se v první kapitole zabývá těhotenstvím obecně, ve druhé kapitole je zaměřená na možnosti sociální pomoci, které mají neplánovaně těhotné ženy, třetí kapitolu představuje pomoc v podobě státní sociální podpory, čtvrtá kapitola uvádí možnosti pomoci v případě, že je žena neplánovaně a zároveň nechtěně těhotná a pátá a zároveň poslední kapitola teoretické části představuje některé z vybraných organizací, které se také zabývají pomocí neplánovaně těhotným ženám v ČR. Cílem bakalářské práce je zmapovat možnosti, jaké žena má v případě, že neplánovaně otěhotní, ať už se rozhodne si miminko ponechat či nikoli. Aplikační část je zaměřená na organizaci Amalthea v Chrudimi, v aplikační části jsou komparovány tři kazuistiky klientek této organizace. Cílem aplikační části je analyzovat postupy sociální práce s neplánovaně těhotnými klientkami organizace Amalthea. Metodou sběru dat je rozhovor se sociální pracovnicí, která k získání informací používá spisovou dokumentaci klientek.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and application. The theoretical part of the first chapter deals with pregnancy in general, the second chapter focuses on the possibilities of social help to unplanned pregnant women, the third chapter presents assistance in the form of state social support, the fourth part presents forms of help if the woman is unplannedly and unwantedly pregnant and the fifth and the last chapter presents some of chosen organizations which also work with unplanned pregnant women. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the possibilities that a woman has in case she becomes unplannedly pregnant, if she decides to keep her baby or not. The application part is focused on the Amalthea organization in Chrudim, the application part compares three case reports of clients of this organization. The aim of the application part is to analyze the procedures of social work with unplanned pregnant clients of the Amalthea organization. The method of data collection is an interview with a social worker who uses the client's files to get informations.
